We're bringing back the PMCC Funspiel as part of our Curling Day in Canada celebrations
To celebrate Curling Day in Canada, Port Moody Curling Club is running a one-day Open House and Funspiel.
From 10am to 12pm we will have an Open House for the public to learn about the club and try throwing a rock. For our club members, we will be running "The Big Shootout" event, a 30-minuted timed competition to try and draw to the button as many times as possible for a chance to win $5000 for the club.
Then, from 12:30 to 10:00pm we will have a Funspiel. The event will have 60-minute four-end games, and each team is guaranteed three games. We will also be running a Skills Competition, with six different scenarios to test your team's hitting and drawing ability. There will be cash awards for games won, and we will also have a catered dinner.
