Have you been watching curling at the Olympics and thought "I should try that!" Well now you can. We are hosting a number of Try Curling sessions to give you a taste of the Roarin’ Game. Come and try throwing rocks at houses, hurrying hard, and yell yer heart out in a quick two-hour primer to what could be your new love.
Don't let an old injury or physical limitation stop you from trying curling; we encourage and accept all abilities. Instruction and equipment will be provided. No experience necessary. If you have any questions please email manager@portmoodycurling.ca
Juniors The Try Curling program is designed for ages 15+; young people interested in junior curling are encouraged to check out our Juniors program. Sign up for "J3 Juniors - Try-It/Bring a friend Single Day" — registration is free for kids aged 7-20 to come and give curling a try during our regular Juniors sessions (Tuesday & Thursday afternoons, 4:30 - 6:00pm). You can attend up to three sessions for free before we ask you to commit for the season.
Groups Small groups (20 or fewer) are welcome to join a Try Curling session. Each participant will need to sign up separately. We will make every effort to keep your group together; note that some instruction will involve all participants at the same time, not just your group.
